Cheyenne Union Pacific Railroad Depot . Wyoming . Watercolor . 12" x 16"

... The Union Pacific Railroad Depot in Cheyenne, Wyoming, built 1887 and designed by the architectural firm of Van Brunt & Howe,
is currently home to the Wyoming Transportation Museum. Union Pacific #844 is an FEF-3 class, 4-8-4 steam locomotive built by the
American Locomotive Company (ALCO) in 1944 and is the oldest steam engine in continuous operation in the US. Although never
retired, UP #844 has been converted from coal to fuel oil and repurposed to pull excursion trips and light freight service.
This watercolor was painted for a Bella Terra Maps publication.
