Watercolor… Located on St Louis Street in the heart of the French Quarter, founded by Antoine Alciatore in 1840… Antoine’s Restaurant is the oldest restaurant in New Orleans. It is known for its astounding French-Creole cuisine and is the birthplace of Oysters Rockefeller. We dined here. Admittedly, it is difficult to find any food in New Orleans that isn’t superb… and at Antoine’s, you will probably have to wait for a table… but… these culinary delights are fantastic… why wouldn’t you wait… and if you’re visiting from out of town… why wouldn’t you go here ???
