Watercolor… situated in the small village of Durham in Upper Bucks County, the mill, built on the foundation of the old colonial Durham Furnace, drew water for it’s enclosed overshot waterwheel from Cooks Creek, by way of a long millrace. At one time, the building was home to the 2nd oldest post office in the United States. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of 1976. It has undergone a few modifications over the years, and a few since these illustrations were made.
