Watercolor… The original Eureka Springs Railway line ran from Seligman, Missouri to Eureka, Arkansas. After growing to 360 miles of coverage, some mergers and name changes, and then a decline that eventually closed the company in 1961… the ES&NA is now part of a victorian tourist village and railroad museum at Eureka Springs. Illustrated is ES&NA #4742, an EMD SW-1 Switcher, which pulls passenger excursion and luncheon/dinner trains… illustrated sitting on a former Friso Line turntable, that has been installed near the site of the original North Arkansas turntable.
