Watercolor… this chair is located as far from human habitation as I can get on my farm. In the shade of a very old and twisted Mulberry Tree, the chair faces East, looking across a small, shallow valley of farm land and pasture. The kids call the structure behind the chair, “The Fort”. It lies at the edge of a treeline between fields. In season… it is flush with Mulberries, followed by Raspberries and a few Blackberries. The upper field behind, is currently in hay. Before it lies barley. In years when corn is planted and high, this place is completely secluded. Painted plein air, late morning of August 28, 2020.
