Reading Railroad T-1

Pen & Ink… the Reading T-1 #2124 is one of thirty, Baldwin I-10a 2-8-0 “Consolidation” locomotives, re-built and converted to a 4-8-4 “Northern”
by the Reading Company at Reading’s own shops in Reading, Pennsylvania between 1945 and 1947. Reading T-1 #2124 is illustrated pulling north out of the Perkasie Tunnel on the Lansdale – Bethlehem line. Number 2124 currently resides at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
